GRAPHITE ART

Over the last 15 years i've explored various mediums and time and time again I come back to the simple Pencil.

I take pride in working with UK-based, small-scale suppliers, using Royal Graphite pencils, Fabriano paper, and Fabian Clarke London Frames to ensure the quality and sustainability of my materials whilst I am creating my large Graphite Art.

There is creativitiy in the partnership between technique and intuition, so I like combining structure with the freedom to explore and reinterpret reality. Drawing, for me, is highly medatative - I find and enjoy the flow of reacreating reality in many shades of graphite. My favourite size is A2, as it gives more canvas to depict the little details, brining it to life over the course of a week or so.

Commissions that will eventually finds themselves framed and giftwarpped for a special occasion are my personal favourite. What do you and your loved ones want to celebrate, is it a new home? Extending your family, with little hands or paws? A 60th birthday?
